Have you resolved to read the Bible more --- only to quickly not meet your own expectations? We can help! Join us for Community Bible Study (CBS). CBS for Men is an in-depth Bible study aimed at helping you grow in your knowledge and relationship with God. We will be studying the Book of Genesis. Brett Butler spoke to a group of men and boys at Purcellville Baptist Church on February 7, 2009. Learn how Brett went from a 2nd string high school player to the major leagues. He then battled cancer, death of both parents, a stroke and difficult parental decisions. Take advantage of the opportunity to become part of a dynamic fellowship of believers looking to grow closer to Jesus Christ, shoulder to shoulder, in ways that provide for accountability, Biblical understanding, wisdom, and spiritual service. Getting our men on fire for God is essential to our church reaching its full potential. With this in mind we will be focusing on laying a strong foundation, for a vibrant, effective and challenging Men’s Ministry. Leading this charge will be David Sanders as we strive to get men more involved in the life of the church while developing meaningful and accountable relationships with other men.
