One of the ways our church makes a difference in the lives of our congregation and our community is through our Woven Ministry and our families who foster or adopt children who need love and safety. There are about 50 children in foster care in Loudoun County and 850 children who are waiting to be adopted in Virginia. Every year, 500 kids in Virginia age out without a family. This event is for anyone who wants to learn about the foster care process, learn about adopting a waiting child, or learn about mentoring a young adult who is aging out. You’ll hear from professionals and have time to ask questions. You’ll leave with things to think and pray about, and be prepared to evaluate how you can help serve vulnerable children. Lunch and free childcare are provided.
