PBC’s Mother’s Day Out (MDO) is a weekday preschool program designed for children ages 2½ to 5 years old. The heart of our ministry is to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can experience the love of God, engage in age-appropriate biblical teaching, and discover the joy of learning.

ABOUT US

PBC MDO has been dedicated to providing a loving, Christian environment for children in our community for over 20 years. Our program operates as a religiously exempt child daycare center in accordance with the Commonwealth of Virginia standards.

Our experienced and caring staff includes teachers with professional backgrounds in education and childcare. Prior to employment, all staff undergo thorough background checks, fingerprinting, and receive CPR and First Aid certification.
Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to nurture the whole child—socially, emotionally, spiritually, and physically—preparing them for a successful transition to kindergarten and beyond. Each school day, our teachers engage children in a variety of learning experiences, including play-based activities, hands-on learning, and structured instruction. Through the lens of Christian values, children learn how to be good citizens, students, and friends. Our aim is to foster not only academic growth but also social and spiritual development, helping each child thrive in a loving and supportive environment.

Our program is currently at capacity.

Registration for the 2025-2026 school year will open in January 2025. A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required at the time of registration to secure your child’s place for the upcoming school year.

To be eligible for enrollment in our Tuesday/Thursday traditional preschool classes, children must be 2½ years old by September 1, 2025. We also offer an optional add-on class called Bible Wednesday. In this class, we explore the Bible from Genesis to Revelation each school year. Children must be 3 years old by September 1, 2025, to enroll in Bible Wednesday.

Please note that all children aged 4 and older must be fully potty trained to attend MDO.

Program Tuition:

· Tuesday/Thursday: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM | $275/month

· Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM | $375/month
