FAQs Is this your first time visiting PBC?

If you’re new to Purcellville Baptist, you might have questions about how we do things and what you should expect at a Christmas service. Here are some answers to a few frequently asked questions.

Who (or what) is PBC?

Purcellville Baptist Church is a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching, and Bible-doing church in the heart of Western Loudoun. We’re a community of everyday people learning to follow Jesus and live out our faith in real life.

Our vision is simple: To help every person experience real life in Christ.. You don’t need to have it all figured out—no matter your background or your story, you’re welcome here.

If you’re looking for hope, connection, or a place to belong, we’d love for you to be part of what God is doing at PBC.

What can I expect when I arrive, and when should I arrive?

When you pull into the parking lot at Purcellville Baptist Church, feel free to park anywhere—including our guest spots if they’re open. Head through the front doors, and you’ll step into our lobby, where friendly greeters are ready to welcome you.

If you have any questions or want help getting connected, stop by our Welcome Desk—our team would love to assist you.

You can grab a coffee or hot chocolate and then make your way into the Worship Center.

We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before the service so you have time to look around and familiarize!

What is the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service?

Christmas Eve at PBC is one of those nights our church family looks forward to all year. The service is about 60 minutes — we sing Christmas songs, hear a short message from Pastor Cory about Immanuel: God With Us, and then end the night with candlelight and “Silent Night.”

It’s simple, meaningful, and the kind of moment where you look around and see families, kids, and friends shoulder to shoulder, celebrating that Jesus came to us.

After the service, the lobby feels like a big family hangout — people taking photos, kids showing off Christmas outfits, and everyone catching up before heading home.

Who can attend PBC at Christmas?

Everyone is welcome! This is a service for all ages, so please bring your children, friends, neighbors — anyone who could use some hope and peace this Christmas!

What should I wear?

Most people dress a little festive for Christmas Eve, but honestly, you can wear whatever makes you comfortable. There’s no dress code at PBC. You’ll see everything from sweats to sparkles, and you’ll fit right in.
