Tree of Life

In 2008, PBC decided it wanted to impact our community in a big way! As a result, we committed to set aside 10% of our budget to help the poor and needy of our community. This led to the eventual formation of Tree of Life Ministries, which became an independent non-profit in 2012.  Tree of Life is dedicated to serving the needy in our LOCAL community with the love of Jesus Christ. They do this through a five branch model which includes Food, Lifeskills, Shelter, Healthcare and Relief.

Tree of Life has a number of volunteer opportunities to fit your schedule and interests including support to individuals with disabilities, providing meals, delivering groceries, engaging with senior adults, teaching English classes, and mentoring.  To learn more about these and other opportunities, you are encouraged to attend one of their Volunteer Introduction Program (VIP) sessions which provide an overview of the many ways Tree of Life is supporting our community.  Visit their website for additional information and click “Want to Help” to sign up for the VIP.
